We know you guys are excited for the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film in 2015, but we’ve got to say some of the potential titles are a little kryptically bad.
Last week, Warner Brothers secretly registered a bunch of titles through MarkMonitor, an internet brand protection company, and most of them make us want to fly around the world so fast that we go back in time and change the WB’s mind:
“According to the latest domain registrations, possible titles include Man of Steel Battle the Knight, Man of Steel Beyond Darkness, Man of Steel Black of Knight, Man of Steel Darkness Falls, Man of Steel Knight Falls, Man of Steel Shadow of the Night, Man of Steel The Blackest Hour, and Man of Steel The Darkness Within.
Shorter variations of the names were also registered like, Battle the Knight, Black of Knight, Knight Falls, and The Blackest Hour.”
With so much “Knight” and “Dark” in their options, they’re basically recreating The Dark Knight in their title, without using those exact three words.
We’re also a little over the use of the Knight/Night pun being used. If the above are options, then so are the titles Junior Prom Knight, and Baturday Knight Live, and Turn On The Knight Light, I’m Scared Of The Dark.
Also, why can’t Superman and Batman just get along, and go tights shopping all day for their costumes?
